Attorney Nancy Stone completed a joint degree program in health law and public health, earning a Master of Public Health degree, as well as a Jurisprudence Doctorate. Licensed by the Texas State Bar since 1993, she has worked with health law and policy issues throughout her career as an attorney. Medicaid Attorney Nancy Stone, serving greater Houston, has both the professional and personal experience to compassionately and skillfully assist her clients with navigating complex government assistance programs like Medicaid long-term care, Medicare and Social Security. She has extensive experience in elder law and disability issues and is certified by the VA to assist veterans and their families with obtaining the Veterans Aid and Attendance Pension.  Elder Law Attorney Nancy Stone assists clients with estate planning, including drafting of powers of attorney, advance directives, wills, and trusts, and estate administration.  She has also worked extensively in health care policy, drafting and testifying on legislation in the Texas Legislature and advocating on health care issues in the U.S. Congress. She received an award for Outstanding Achievement in the Texas Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, in 2009, and served as president of the chapter in 2011-12. In addition, Nancy Stone is a public speaker and published writer on elder law and public health issues.
